Cycling Survival Workshops
Next Workshop Tuesday 9th June 18:00-20:00
This is our most popular workshop and sells out fast. The purpose of the workshop is to show you tips and tricks to get you home or to a bike shop should something go wrong when you’re out riding.
We run this workshop with a maximum of 10 participants so there’s plenty of time for everyone to get ‘dirty hands on’ (PPE Provided).
The agenda for the 2 hour sessions will include:
- How to fix a puncture – properly
- What do do if your tyre splits
- What to do if your chain snaps
- Chain lubrication
- What to do if your mech hanger snaps
- What to do if your derailleur goes into your spokes
- Temporarily fix a buckled wheel
- Replace a broken spoke
- Replacing broken cables and tips on temporary fixes
- What to take on long rides in relation to tools and spares
Cost is £35 per person and includes light refreshments and 20% off any items purchased on the day.
