The Cycling Hub is the true local one stop Cycle resource For Bedfordshire. 

We are part of what could be considered as the oldest bike shop still operating in Bedfordshire, and – as far as we know – in the surrounding counties of Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire, too!

About Dorvics

Dorvics was taken over by new management at the end of 2016, and we’re committed to giving the Leighton Buzzard cycling community a shop to be proud of. With a blend of online convenience, local service and decades of expertise, we can help you with all of your cycling needs, from first bikes to kids through to servicing for high-spec road bikes.

At our store, you can check out samples of all of our bikes, and get advice on which is the best bike for you. Once you’ve ordered with us, your bike will be delivered to our store where our expert team will complete the build, give it a rigorous safety check and fit your accessories.

Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you”

‘I have a great idea!’

Some people say he was mad to invest in a bike shop when so many are closing down across the country as internet sales take over. But Leighton Buzzard has got to be the most cycling centric town for miles around: the culture is here, the passion is here, and the cycling clubs need their own local bike shop. Now with Dorvics in its seventh successful year under new ownership proves that Ashley is not that mad!

Kyle

The Ironman

  • 13 years as an Army Aircraft Engineer and project manager.
  • 6 months of volunteering in cycle shops to gain hands on experience
  • Invictus Games competitor for 2025 representing TEAM UK.
  • Triathlon coach and sportsman having competed at all distances upto Ironman.
  • Charity fundraiser – raised £20,000 + through organised events in the last 3 years.

  • FAA Level 3 First Aid at Work
  • Level 3 in cycle maintenance (Cytech)

Baz

‘The Sensible One’

A successful businessman with exceptional experience in the retail industry, Baz is pulling the ‘back end’ of the business together and keeping the staff focused on providing a service to local cyclists. He’s also ensuring that everyone else doesn’t spend the day drooling over bikes, tools and the latest trick components…

Jake

The Saturday Boy

Jake is the new Apprentice, learning the ropes and now fixing bikes with expert guidance, the right tools and environment. Jake is also a pretty talented BMX rider and Mountain Bike Guru, he does all of his own stunts so usually come in with the weeks injuries to tell us about!

Donna

Head of Customer Experience (the chatty one!)

We are so happy to have Donna on board as the newest member to Team Dorvics. Donna brings extensive retail customer service experience skills to the team from within the Cycling Industry. Donna knows bikes inside out, loves cycling and is pretty handy with a torque wrench. Donna is the backbone of Dorvics, keeping the ship moving in the right direction, providing sound advice to customers on their cycling needs.
